On July 20, 2026, the Key Laboratory of Real-virtual Integrated Autonomous Systems（RIAS） was approved for establishment. It is hosted by the Renmin University of China Xiong'an Institute for Future Intelligent Manufacturing.
On the same day, authorities released the public notice Announcement on Proposed New Provincial Key Laboratories and Provincial Technology Innovation Centers for Xiong'an New Area in 2026. According to Attachment 1 of the notice, Key Laboratory of Real-virtual Integrated Autonomous Systems（RIAS） is listed as item No. 2 among proposed new provincial key laboratories, hosted by the RUC Xiong'an Institute for Future Intelligent Manufacturing, under the Industry, Information Technology and Data Bureau of Hebei Xiong'an New Area.
RIAS focuses on scene reconstruction and real-virtual mapping, swarm collaborative perception, multi-agent decision and optimization, real-virtual multi-agent cloud-brain platforms and testbeds, and cross-domain deployment—from fundamental research to field demonstration.
